A really good rug is sure to last a lifetime and is expensive enough to warrant spending enough time and energy on the purchase. The colors, size, and patterns should be considered in relation to the room to be decorated so that they fit together. 

If you follow a few basic rules, they can decorate your home for a long time (even 30-40 years), so it's important to patiently choose the rug that will fundamentally determine the atmosphere of your home.
